Through the exploration of work opportunities, goals and identification of potential areas for skill development, I aim to bring more structure and planning to people struggling with career direction and confused about how to navigate different work pathways with disability and other challenges.
Building Job Search Skills
I offer more intensive support with writing resumes, looking for jobs, completing applications, preparing for interviews and other stages of the recruitment process than is typically provided with DES. I can assist clients with identifying appropriate employment opportunities and help them to understand what is required of them in the application process.
Support Engaging with DES
Some people need help and support engaging with government services such as Disability Employment Service Providers, navigating these systems and requirements can be difficult for someone with a disability. I can provide clients with more information and support to increase the chances of a successful engagement with DES.
